Volleyball Makes Easy Work of Northwood

Lakeland, Fla. - The Southeastern University volleyball team took a step closer to post-season on Saturday with the three set victory over Northwood University by scores of 25-10, 25-13, and 25-8.
The Fire were hitting on all cylinders from the start led by Christi Limpert’s 10 kills. Limpert only made 14 total attack attempts to get those 10 kills for an attack percentage of .643. Allison Lewen added eight kills as the Fire offense hit at .363 as a team.
Tara McSherley dished out 30 assists while Katie Trenski and McSherley bolstered the defense with 11 digs apiece.
Up next the Fire host Warner University on Friday at 7 p.m. before hosting Webber International on Saturday at 2 p.m. to conclude the regular season.
