Soccer Ties 1-1 in 2OT Thriller

The Fire played a tremendous first half against the Warriors, they dominated possession of the ball for most of the half and they were able to go into halftime with a 1-0 lead. In the 28th minute of the first half the two substitutes Ashton Hicks and Christian Bores teamed up for the first score. Bores recieved a pass and pushed up the left side, he played in a beautiful cross into the box where Hicks was on the receiving end and was able to put the ball away.
Webber International kicked off the second half by blasting the ball deep down the left side of the field. Vincente Munoz was able to bring the pass down to has feet and immediately cross the ball into the box where Fabian Egger was on the backside of the pass and put it past David Danahy. It took the Warriors just 15 seconds to equalize the score at the start of the second half.
The two teams played into overtime and still were not able to play to a decision. The game went all 110 minutes with neither team being able to break the 1-1 stalemate.
The Fire play again in their regular season finale against Ave Maria University on October, 25th in Ave Maria, Fla. at 4 p.m.
