Men's Soccer Takes Down the Warner Royals

The Fire put on an offensive display in the first half of this evenings game, they scored all three of their goals at the end of the first half to take a 3-1 lead into halftime. The first goal came in to the 39th minute when Stephen Eppinger received a pass from Ashton Hicks and he put the ball past the Royals goalkeeper to make the score 1-1 to equalize the game after the Royals goal in the 32nd minute.
It took Southeastern just one minute to score the next goal and put them ahead 2-1. The goal, again, came from senior forward Stephen Eppinger he was assisted on the goal by senior midfielder Shawn Meek. The Fire connected again just two minutes later when Christian Bores scored on a breakaway unassisted to put the Fire up 3-1 going into halftime.
Southeastern did not need any more offense as the defense surrendered only one goal in the second half to keep the game at 3-2 for the final.
Southeastern is back in action this Saturday against Webber International University at 7 pm in Lakeland, Fla.
