Cobb Leads Men's Golf at Thomas Invitational

Valdosta, Ga. - JD Cobb shot 75-73 to lead the Southeastern University men’s golf team at the Thomas University Fall Invitational from Kinderlou Forest Golf Club on Monday and Tuesday.
Overall the Fire finished in a disappointing eighth place out of 12 teams with a two day total of 609. The University of South Carolina Beaufort won the tournament by shooting 586.
Cobb’s two day total of 148 earned him a 13th place finish while Frederic Thieriz and Kyle Martin shot 153 (78-75) to finish in a tie for 29th place.
Isaac Spencer shot 157 (77-80) for 41st place and Gabriel Gomez shot 160 (82-78) to finish 54th overall.
Up next the Fire head to South Carolina to compete in the NCCAA South Regional on October 7-9.
