Warriors Extinguish Fire

Babson Park, Fla.- The Southeastern women’s soccer team took on Webber International University Thursday afternoon and lost by a score of 3-1.
The scoring started in the third minute of the game for the Warriors. They were given a penalty kick and it was slotted into the back of the net by Ashley Palmer.
The Fire answered back late in the first half as they were given a penalty kick as well. Lorin Ressler took the kick for the Fire and she scored it to take the game into halftime tied at one.
The second half was all Webber as they scored six minutes into the half when Ashley Palmer put her second goal into the back of the net. The Warriors scored 20 minutes later off of a header that put the game out of reach, and the game finished with a final of 3-1.
The Fire are playing next against Warner this Saturday in Lake Wales. This will be the teams second meeting of the year with the Fire coming away with a 3-0 win in the first meeting.
