Plant City Native Transfers to SEU From Brevard Community College
Kyle Martin was a NJCAA All-American selection in 2011.
LAKELAND--Southeastern University just became a little strong on the links next year, as Kyle Martin signed with the Fire this past Friday, giving Head Coach Steve Phelps an experienced and talented player to add to his fold next season.
Martin was a two year player for Brevard Community College, and a NJCAA National All-American selection in 2011. He tied for 8th place in the 2011 NJCAA National Tournament, posting a three over par 291 (74-70-71-76) for the championship.
He played his high school golf at nearby Plant City High School, where he was a Hillsborough All-County selection for the 2008-09.
Martin becomes the second Titans player to transfer to Southeastern over the past two seasons, following in the footsteps of Matthew Jenkinson who played at Brevard from 2008-10.
