Senior Has Never Made An Error in SEU Career
Senior Shane Casey is a two-time conference Gold Glove winner.
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.--The Sun Conference recently announced their
2012 Gold Glove team, which was voted on by the conference coaches. The Gold Glove team is a representation of the best defensive players at their respective position within the conference.
For the second consecutive season, Fire outfielder Shane Casey, was SEU's lone representative. Casey has never made an error in 117 games at Southeastern, and led Fire outfielders this season with 100 putouts. He made also led SEU with 12 outfield assists.
Since joining The Sun Conference in 2010, Casey is the only Fire player to win a Gold Glove Award.
