AUBURNDALE, Fla.--Local Auburndale High School standout, Kevin Pierre, recently signed his letter of intent to play his collegiate soccer at Southeastern University. Pierre is Fire Head Coach Drew Stacey's fourth signing so far this season, as he joins Christian Bores, Ashton Hicks, and Adam Peters in this year's recruiting class.
Pierre, who grew up in France, moved to Florida two years ago where he enrolled to play soccer for the Bloodhounds. He was coached by Guy Jennings, and was an All-County First Team selection his senior season. He also received athletic honors during his junior campaign, being named All-County Second Team and All-Area First Team.
Coach Stacey believes he will bring some explosive athletic ability to the Fire's midfield this upcoming season, and should compete for playing time right away as a freshman.
He is the son of Marc Ducarmel and Marculeuse Pierre, and plans to study sports medicine at SEU.
